People Groups are small groups of 10 or less people that have a common interest. They are all structured around Jesus Christ and focused on reinforcing the mission/vision of TPPC. Groups are held for 8 weeks two times every year; Spring and Fall semesters. Group members are not required to be a partner at The People Place Church. Everyone can join a group and anyone that meets the required criteria can be trained to host a group. However, those that are not partners, MUST be referred by someone who is a partner before becoming a part of a group.

Spring Semester Starts March 9th

The group will focus on couples participating in date night activities. The activities will be on varying days and times. Each activity will focus on a scripture and help the couples to cultivate a greater connection. Focusing on the importance of spending quality time together through regular date night activities

Group Requirements:

Couples must be willingness to to cultivate the ground of their marriage. Also, there will be some activities that require some financial investment.

Each session a superfood will be introduced. We will have a discussion about the benefits of that superfood and then prepare a meal/dish for everyone to try incorporating the specific food discussed. The main focus will be incorporating healthier choices into our diets.

This group will learn what it means to break the chains of spiritual, mental and/or emotional bondage.

This group will have discussions on various types of grief, be a place where people can share their experiences of grief and loss, and learn about the healing process.

Where: In-person

This group is designed to set a standard for men by giving them practical biblical tools to serve as a foundation for their everyday life.

When: Saturdays 8:00am(CST)

Where: In-person

This group will be discussing boldness in faith, overcoming fear, & accepting God's calling at a young age.

Where: Virtual

This group is for women who feel as if they've lost themselves through life's circumstances. It emphasizes the importance of the personal process and the beauty of authentically sharing your journey one sister to another; designed to help them rediscover their God-given purpose & implement steps to move in that direction daily.
