The People Place Church is full of diverse people that God made to serve in different ways. Look through the teams below to find your place. Whether it’s a Sunday team, or non-Sunday team, we know there’s a role out there that fits your God-given abilities. Don’t worry, we offer specialized training so you can always feel confident each time you serve.

Baptism

This team prepares for and hosts the baptism experience.

Check-In

This team facilitates the check-in process in Kids to ensure children are cared for effectively and efficiently. Requirements: Age: 18+, Background check

Creative Arts

This team enhances the worship experience with the visible expressions such as dance, miming, painting, and acting.

Facilities

This team works to ensure that the property and grounds are maintained in excellence. Requirements: Background check.

Greeter

This team welcomes people to The People Place at the front doors and hands out materials at the entrance to the worship area.

Children & Youth

This team invests in the lives of children & youth through worship, Biblical teaching, videos, retreats, conferences, Small Groups, activities, games and serving at the designated table when needed. Requirements: Background check

Digital Discipleship

This team brings a human feel and structure to our online platforms to tell the world about Jesus and our church to help them move toward a deeper relationship with Jesus and/or partnership with The People Place. Requirements: Social Networks and Digital Training

Events

This team facilitates the set up and breakdown of any conferences, special events, or services that requires manpower assistance.

In-person Hosts

This team brings a personal touch to our worship experiences by hosting in the lobby, at designated stations, in halls and in the worship area.

JV (Junior Volunteers)

This team is made up of 6th-8th graders who serve in our pre-school and Children’s areas.

Legacy

This team uses our gift of giving to support major projects and facilitate the overall vision of the church through strategic financial offerings.

Media

This team assists in the production of the overall worship experience by using lights, cameras, sound graphic design and other visual elements.

Next Steps

This team serves as a first point of contact for new partners, helping them to be acclimated and assisting them with discovering their next steps at The People Place.

Parking

This team serves as the first impression for those coming to The People Place by welcoming people on and off the property and by providing a safe and efficient parking experience. Requirements: Age: 15+

People Groups Leaders

This team is trained to facilitate Small Groups and equipped to build relationships while helping group members discover their next steps. Requirements: Background check

Preschool/Nursery

This team ministers to children through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities and personal interactions. Requirements: Background check

Setup & Breakdown

This team facilitates the set up and breakdown of any services and any other activity that requires manpower assistance.

Support

This team works behind the scenes to maintain and support every area of our church, including baptism, worships, conferences, and special events.

Volunteers Host

This team hosts our volunteers before and after services and special events.

Usher

This team of men assists people to their seats, facilitates the offering, and helps maintain a distraction-free service environment.

Worship

This team facilitates a powerful worship experience through vocals, instruments, and audio engineering. Requirements: Audition and any other requirements specific to this area
